I think it's difficult for a lot of young people in rural America to see the effects of systemic racism, especially when they see poor whites treated similarly by the powers that be, but it's a reality we need to awaken to. People who do their part to expose it without resorting to generalizing, putting people down, or clockbaiting are so important.
