Hi everyone!
So sorry for sending you two emails this week, but I have a request. When you get a moment, would you mind replying to this email or leaving a comment with stories of wonderful pastors? I’m working on a piece about what faithful ministry looks like, and I’d love to share some of your stories. I believe so much of ministry happens in spaces that don’t receive national attention, so I’d love to learn from you.
Also, I’m tired of the negative and really wanting to focus on some great humans.
Also also, my writing professor from college had a poem published in Fathom Magazine. Check it out!
Also also also, I just finished Now & Then by Frederick Buechner and came across this quote. It’s one of his most famous because it is incredible:
“Listen to your life. See it for the fathomless mystery that it is. In the boredom and pain of it no less than in the excitement and gladness: touch, taste, smell your way to the holy and hidden heart of it because in the last analysis all moments are key moments, and life itself is grace.”1
I hope you have a great rest of your week, and I can’t wait to hear about the amazing pastors in your life.
